Dr. Monica Boehmer

Growing up, Dr. Boehmer loved practicing piano, playing violin, and dancing ballet – all activities that relied on impeccable hand-eye coordination and artistic skill. When she realized she could use these talents through dental care to help others, she knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life!

Dr. Boehmer’s first step toward becoming a top-rated dentist near Uptown Albuquerque was earning her undergraduate degree at Washington University. From there, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry. Passionate about her craft, she has continued to pursue advanced training throughout her career with world-renowned institutions like the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education.

Naturally, Dr. Boehmer’s talent, dedication, and skill haven’t gone unnoticed. In addition to being a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, she has been named one of the “Top Dentists” in Albuquerque The Magazine for over a decade. Even with all of these impressive accomplishments and accolades under her belt, she continues to be an active member of professional organizations, like the SPEAR Faculty Club, to continue to provide her patients with the absolute best.

When she isn’t at the office or pursuing continuing education, you’ll most likely find Dr. Boehmer with her husband, Steve, and their two cats, Winter and Bear. As for hobbies, she enjoys skiing, cooking, restoring vintage cars, and getting involved with the Humane Association.
