Your First Visit
Dr. Monica Boehmer and her team strive to make the first visit as comprehensive, educational, and ultimately satisfying as possible for new patients. Your appointment will feature the following steps:
- A full office tour and sit-down conversation with the patient regarding their smile goals, concerns, and specific reasons for visiting
- Complete digital photos, necessary X-rays, and diagnostic models (if necessary)
- Dedicated oral examination with Dr. Boehmer and an in-depth discussion of treatment possibilities
If further care or professional hygiene needs to be arranged, we will reschedule you for a follow-up at your earliest convenience. Hopefully, this will be the first visit of many!

When visiting our practice for the first time, there is some necessary paperwork that will need to be completed so that we can have a good basis of information about your dental history and medical history for further care. We’re happy to work with patients who’d like to use dental insurance benefits – in fact, our team members can file claims as needed and maximize your deserved reimbursements effectively with their extensive knowledge of the system. We are in-network providers with United Concordia and Delta Dental Premier and accept virtually all PPO plans.
